12-21-21 THOUGHTS

My dear ones, this will be my last post until Thursday December 30, 2021.  I wish for each of you, happiness in the coming days we call Christmas. Please feel the love of the season and contribute to it!  I pray for your health, for our health corporately, both physically and spiritually. We are not past our pandemic problems.  Many of us have had first hand experience, and many even now are struggling with the virus.  I admit to you that I have Covid Fatigue!   I am tired of it and all that it brings.  I struggle to maintain a reasonable level of POWER, and ACTION and FOCUS. Much of the problem comes from “A SHORTAGE OF US”!  VIRTUAL FELLOWSHIP isn’t perfecting our MUTUAL LOVE!   Lord help us all!  CHURCH, hold on to your vision of  FELLOWSHIP IN A FAMILY OF LOVE that DRAWS OTHERS TO CHRIST!

I borrow a couple of lines from my very first post on 3-18-20:
“I am sad that I won’t get the strength and joy from our meeting together.  No songs, no prayers, no study together, no hugs and handshakes.  The potential for a more significant distancing frightens me. Right now, I just need to share some piece of value with all of you.  Something Godly in a time none of us have ever faced.  As we are told to stay home, we must somehow learn to stay together!  SOMEHOW in this time, WE MUST CONTINUE TO THINK TOGETHER!  It is surely a TIME FOR PRAYER BY ALL OF US!   We will get lazy if we do not maintain a desire to STAY CONNECTED!”

I am concerned that a year and nearly eight months later, not so much laziness, but a TIREDNESS that  is our enemy number one?  Give us a reviving O Lord.  Strengthen our bodies and our minds and bring us closer to each other and to You.  Church... NOW IS THE TIME TO PRAY!  WE NEED LARGE QUANTITIES OF POWERFUL, QUALITY PRAYERS in our midst.  LORD HELP US!
I love each of you so dearly.

Gal 6:9-10   Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. 10  So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
Col 2:6  Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,  7  having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.

My Prayer:            3-18-2020
“Father, keep us in your watch-care in these confusing times.  Fix our minds on YOU and help us to carefully consider each other as we are distanced from our fellowship.  Help us each to work harder to maintain our mental and spiritual connection to You, to the Church and to each other.  Sustain your children in Rescue please, O God!           In Jesus name...          Amen.
